House of Houdini Wish List August

Wish List 23rd August 2014
links bellow;

Heya guys, so I'm in the midst of uploading my first YouTube video !! Ahh scary stuff. It takes like a year to upload in HD however, so god knows when its going to be ready (fingers crossed soon). I have however, in the meantime, gone to the effort of creating my monthly wish list/ weekly lol #greedy. I am in love with the Lazy Oaf plant pot necklace, as it pretty much sums up my plant addiction. Im also loving the River Island new season purply blue shirt! The print is so arty, and would defiantly create a statement within an outfit. 70's chunky heeled sandals, are also making a major scene within my wardrobe the up coming season, i just can't get enough of them! I think most of the items within this wish list, are quite adaptable, which is going to come in handy being a poor student, as its always good to have those items you can wear day-to-day. And last but not least, is the slouchy Topshop bag. Now being a new uni student *3 weeks aahhh* I think its important to have a bag that looks good, but also fits in all the necessities. So this Topshop bag is a complete bargain at £40!.

Finally can i plug my new youtube channel ?? I will anyways.. Its 'House of Houdini' so if you're interested in seeing me ramble on about god knows what, then i would love love love it, if you subscribed!!

Till next time beauties!

After visiting Monets' garden in France, only a few weeks ago, I can understand the appeal of incorporating nature within print. Its just so bloody beautiful! Now king of all nature incorporated designs has to be William Morris, godfather of victorian textile arts. He loved nature and favoured natural dyes, so earthy and dusky colours usually make up a Morris palette. However within the new winter/fall, designers have taken there own twist, inspired and influenced by his iconic designs, creating vibrant beautiful pieces. If George Harrison can look that good in a Morris jacket (not the handkerchief dancing type) I think we all need to incorporate a bit more nature within our wardrobes.
